It looks like the Edge browser for Xbox One might finally get the tweaking it’s been needing.
Microsoft has announced that we will be getting a new firmware update for the Xbox One console as of today, and it is due to roll out by 6AM PT today, on Dec. 9.

We can expect to see multiple bugs and glitch fixes across the console, but most will be focused on the Edge browser, Microsoft’s new version of Internet Explorer. Xbox’s Communications Executive, Larry Hyrb, also clarifies that with this firmware update, we will see no new additions of system features, as this update is solely to fix bugs. The latest feature update that the Xbox One saw was the addition of the Sky Go player, which has so far only been released in the UK. The Sky Go player allows Xbox One users to watch Sky TV through the console in another room, or even in another home for that matter.
