Halo 5’s Forge Map Editor is Now Live

The Creation has begun.

It looks like Halo 5’s Forge map editor, which has been around since Halo 3 in 2007, is now up and running, courtesy of the Cartographer’s Gift update. 343’s designer David Ellis has tweeted the map editor’s addition into the main menu of the game, along with how to access it.

All you have to do is scroll down to the multiplayer tab, and then scroll over to Forge. Pick a map, pick your team, and get to editing. Then, once you’re done, you can save it to your personal files or upload it for other Halo 5 players to try out. Forge mode will allow you to change spawn points for players and weapons, along with adding or deleting geometry and power ups. 343 showed off some footage last week, and it’s pretty fun.
