Starbound has been in Early Access for just over 2 years now, and if you have seen Terraria before you will have a slight idea of what Starbound is like.
It is a 2D game with a pixel art aesthetic that emphasizes exploration, with an infinite amount of generated planets for you to come across through multiple saves. There are currently 7 races you can choose from, each with their unique ship design and armor abilities. While exploring you will have missions to accomplish, whether ones linked to the main story or others given to you by NPCs.
It’s also possible to play the game with your friends, which could make the game even more fun. Starbound will cost you $14.99 currently on Steam.
