One involves crashes.
Earlier today, Three Fields Entertainment took to Twitter to announce that they are working on two brand new titles. Since Three Fields Entertainment is made up of former Burnout/Criterion Games members, you may be excited to hear that one of the two games is a racer.
While both games are currently unnamed, Three Fields Entertainment did reveal that the first they’re working on will be a multiplayer sports game that will be coming out in 2016. Over on their website, Three Field Entertainment also said that this will be, “an innovative, new twist on a sports game that’s fast, funny, and heavy on social multiplayer.”
Meanwhile, here’s what they had to say about the second game:
“What sort of driving game you ask? A spiritual successor. Speed. Traffic. And Crashing. Lots and lots of crashing.”
So, they basically confirmed that they’re working on a spiritual successor to their popular Burnout franchise. The last Burnout game came out in 2008, so it’s nice to know that Three Fields Entertainment is working on a spiritual successor, even if it isn’t likely to come out until late 2016, the earliest.
