With another week comes another visit from our friend Xur, agent of the nine. Recently, players have been wondering about the new, but yet to be unlocked exotic: the sleeper simulant. Over the summer, Xur teased us with some previews of Destiny: The Taken King’s new exotic heavy weapon fusion rifle. Unfortunately, Xur still isn’t selling the sleeper simulant this weekend nor does he have any information about it. However, speaking of what Xur isn’t selling this weekend, maybe you’re interested in knowing what he is selling and where he’s selling it?
We thought so. This week, you can find Xur standing next to the balcony just outside of where the speaker resides. Let’s take a look at what he’s selling.
Up first, for Titans, Xur is selling the fiery Immolation Fists which is good for Sunbreakers.
- Defense: 280
- Intellect: 32/45 Strength: 27/40
- Grants Explosive Pyre.
- Increased melee attack speed.
- Increased reload speed with hand cannons.
For Hunters, Xur is selling the explosive Celestial Nighthawk which is useful for taking down bullet-sponge bosses.
- Defense: 280
- Intellect: 35/50 Strength: 36/51
- Golden Gun fires one shot with 6x damage, while granting Keyhole for overpenetration.
- Gain bonus Super energy on grenade kills.
- Bonus grenade energy on orb pickup.
For Warlocks, Xur is selling The Heart of the Praxic Fire which is great for Radiance.
- Defense: 280
- Intellect: 43/63 Discipline: 45/65
- When Radiance is active, increased Agility and decreased ability cooldowns.
- Increases the amount of Scout Rifle ammunition you can carry.
- Reduces incoming Void Burn damage.
Xur once again has no featured exotic weapon this week but is instead carrying an Exotic Heavy Weapon Legacy Engram. According to Bungie:
“These Engrams contain Year One Exotics (at Year One Attack and Defense levels) for players who want to finish up a Collection. They strongly bias towards Exotics not already in your Blueprint Collection, to help fill in the blank slots – excluding Mythoclast and Necrochasm, which are still only available from their Year One sources.”
In addition to the above, Xur is selling an exotic helmet engram along with the curios of void drive, emerald coil, heavy ammo synthesis, and his new item, three of coins. You can also exchange strange coins for motes of light if you wish.
