Destiny Launches Halloween Event with Spooky Costumes and New Emotes

Can Thralls get a cavity?

Today, Bungie released it’s Halloween event for Destiny: The Taken King called the Festival of the Lost.

The event starts off at Eva Levante to gather some candy around the various places in the Tower. Once completed, you will then have three more quests to pick up as well.

Also released today were three new Halloween-themed emotes for everyone to try. “Boo” for 300 Silver, “Monster Dance” for 500 and “Zombie Dance” (only available on Xbox One and Playstation 4) for 700 Silver.

This event is similar to the one found in World of Warcraft, the Hallow’s End event which allowed characters to gather masks and talk to NPCs for delicious candy.

This isn’t Destiny’s first foray into the Halloween spirit, last year Bungie gave players pumpkin masks to put over their helmets while adventuring into the game world.

What do you guys think? Are you enjoying all these candy-filled events? There’s plenty to see and do at the Tower so be sure to take a look and let us know what you find!
