New to Metal Gear Solid V: TPP is Reflex Mode. What this does is allow players to take out an enemy that has spotted them before an alarm is set off. Playing the game without this mode on actually helps to net you a higher score, but it’s such a cool effect, and can be used strategically for players who really aren’t that good at stealth games.

Once you’re spotted, time slows to a crawl giving you about 5 seconds to get rid of everyone in front of you. You can melee, tranquilize, or kill, it’s entirely up to you. Chaining Reflex situations together makes for good videos, and is just a really fun way to see how badass Big Boss truly is.
