Rise of the Tomb Raider Descent Into Legend Trailer Released

Ready to explore some tombs?

Rise of the Tomb Raider has been one of the most high profile games of the year, and rightly so. The game itself looks fantastic from what we’ve seen from gameplay trailers that have been shown at E3 and at Gamescom. However, some fans have been disappointed by the fact that the game is a timed exclusive to Microsoft and PlayStation fans will have to wait a whole year for Rise of the Tomb Raider after it has been released on the PC, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.

Nonetheless, the game looks like it’s going to be a fantastic, swashbuckling, action adventure and we can’t wait to get our hands on it. To get us even more excited, Microsoft has released a new trailer for the game called “Descent Into Legend”.

The trailer shows off loads of gameplay and some of the new abilities that Lara will have at her disposal. Tombs are back in force and it looks like players are going to have to use their cunning to solve puzzles in order to reach the treasure they are looking for.

A Collector’s Edition of Rise of the Tomb Raider has also been announced and if you’re yearning for more Tomb Raider goodness than be sure to check out the gameplay demo that was shown at Gamescom.

Rise of the Tomb Raider is due to be released first on the Xbox One and Xbox 360 on November 10. The PC edition will be released in early 2016 and the PlayStation 4 edition will be released in late 2016.
