Grand Theft Auto V Was the Best Selling Game in Europe in the First Half of 2015

Grand Theft Auto V made a killing in the sales charts over the last year.

The magazine GamesMarkt has revealed that Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto V was the best selling game in Europe during the first half of 2015 with 2,354,391 copies sold.

Electronic Arts took second and third place with FIFA 15 and Battlefield: Hardline. FIFA 15 sold 1,991,566 copies while Battlefield: Hardline sold 1,069,489 copies. NetherRealm Studio’s Mortal Kombat X came eighth with 461,794 sold.


Outside the top 10, The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited came 11th with 375,794 copies sold and, despite being a buggy mess on launch, Assassin’s Creed: Unity managed to outsell Super Smash Bros with over 451,781 copies sold.
