Five Nights at Freddy’s Becomes an RPG in FNAF World

Will the Bite of ’87 be a special attack?

The horror series Five Nights at Freddy’s has inspired thousands of theories to explain the mysterious story, including our own analysis of the tale. The series also attracted plenty of people who just like a good jump scare.

However, the next Five Night’s at Freddy’s game might not provide scares or a clear explanation of the plot. Creator Scott Cawthon’s next game is not a horror game, but an RPG titled FNAF World.

In a post on the Five Night’s at Freddy’s 4 Steam Community page, Cawthon announced the new game while answering some questions about the series. The free Halloween update for Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 will not continue the story, nor will FNAF World. The story of that series is done, and the few unresolved secrets must be solved by the community.

In FNAF World, your party in the game will consist of the game’s terrifying animatronics in classic, withered, toy, phantom, and nightmare versions. They will be redesigned from the original games to fit the RPG world.

FNAF World is confirmed for release on PC, iOS, and Android but has no release date currently. Cawthon is working on a free demo as well.
