Fallout 4 Has More Dialogue Lines Than Fallout 3 and Skyrim Combined

Thousand upon thousands of lines.

Bethesda has finished voice recording for Fallout 4, a massive project resulting in more lines than in Fallout 3 and Skyrim combined. “Many years” went into capturing over 111,000 lines for the upcoming title, according to a tweet from Bethesda earlier today.

Trumping the dialogue numbers of Bethesda’s last two major titles is no easy task. Skyrim itself had over 60,000 lines of voiced dialogue.

The inclusion of voiced protagonists, a first to the Fallout series, played no small part in the score. After all, the game’s two main voice actors, Brian T Delaney and Courtenay Taylor, have recorded over 13,000 lines over the past two years.

With this news, it seems Fallout 4 is looking to break all kinds of records for the series. The title will feature over 400 hours of gameplay, as well as over 700 possible weapon modifications.

Fallout 4 hits PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC this upcoming Nov. 10. Here’s everything we learned about the game at Gamescom to prepare you for Bethesda’s highly anticipated release.
