It seems like Bethesda is working on a sequel to 2014’s Wolfenstein: The New Order, according to one of the voice actors of the last game in an interview with Polish TV Station TVN.
The voice actor in question was Alicja Bachleda-Curus, who played the role of Anya Oliwa in Wolfenstein: The New Order. According to the interview, she explained that “I’m working on a video game, first part of which I have already made,” and that the “second game” would take two more years.
She also said that “I played this game as a child. I was very happy when I got to the point where I could shoot Hitler.”
The story was originally found by Eurogamer who reached out to Bethesda for comments, although Bethesda have yet to answer.
We reviewed Wolfenstein: The New Order back in May of 2014 and gave it a 4/5 for its old school gameplay mechanics, badass villains and enemies, perk system and zany take on alternative history. However, we didn’t like the games protagonists, uneven story tone, or its dumb AI.
