Street Fighter V Beta Update Allows Temporary Access

Get in while you can!

Last month, the Street Fighter V beta launched on PlayStation 4. However, server issues meant very few people got to play the game, and the scheduled beta test was pushed back. The beta got a surprise patch on Aug. 13, and today the Street Fighter V beta is allowing some users to access it.

The Street Fighter Twitter account posted a series of updates about the patch, calling this an “internal stress test” for the game’s servers.

This is an unofficial test period, so players are having varied experiences. Some can’t access the beta at all, while others can get into training mode and play full online matches. Some players are even streaming the game.

If you’ve played the beta, what are your thoughts on Street Fighter V‘s new gameplay systems? Let us know in the comments.
