We finally got our first look at the gameplay of Dark Souls III during the Xbox Gamescom press conference, but the lucky event attendees got some hands-on time with the game itself. Bandai Namco and From Software made the game playable on the showfloor and here’s some off-camera footage of the Dark Souls III demo.
The demo shows off the gorgeous visuals of the game, as well as the dynamic enemy movements as your foes attempt to ambush you by hiding in the shadows. While we don’t really get a very comprehensive look of Lodeleth in the shown footage, it’s still nice to see that the gameplay itself looks rather fast-paced and quite similar to Bloodborne too.
Dark Souls III is set to be released for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC in early 2016.
