Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is only one week away and so far it has been getting fantastic reviews from critics. It would be fair to say that regarding the Metal Gear franchise, this could be creator Hideo Kojima’s swan song as his troubles with publisher Konami appear to have forced him to move on.
Though this may be the end of Hideo Kojima’s involvement with Metal Gear Solid, we certainly have not seen the last of him. The famed creator turned 52 yesterday and published a Tweet which stated that he intends to keep creating in one way or another for the rest of his life.
Thanks everyone, I turned 52 and will keep creating in rest of my life.

Many fans of Kojima’s work will be very happy to learn that the talented developer has no intentions of stepping away from creating new things. What he may go on to do in the future is anyone’s guess, but we can’t wait to see what he comes up with next.
