Don’t Spam Juke
After a couple of missions, players will unlock the Juke and Strafe abilities for their ship. Strafe will allow A-Tak to move laterally, making the whole act of circling targets much easier, and adding to your dodge capabilities. Juke, on the other hand, allows for the ship to jump right over a threat in Galak-Z and is one of your most valuable abilities. You may get the urge to start mashing on the square button once you enter a battle, but this is doing yourself a disservice. Instead, wait for enemy fire to come close before triggering Juke. After each use it takes a second or two before you’re able to use it again, so using it too early will leave you a sitting duck long enough for enemy aircraft to eat away at your shields.
Use caution and patience if you want to survive a fight. Enemy AI in Galak-Z is pretty impressive, so spamming any trick is just gonna leave their digitized faces laughing over your digitized wreck.
