Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer Remains on Top of the Japanese Sales Charts

Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer remains on top of the Japanese sales charts for the third week.

Media Creates has revealed that Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer is still selling strong, as it has topped the Japanese sales charts for the third week in a row. The latest entry in Nintendo’s extremely popular series managed to sell over 140,000 units last week, including bundle sales.

The second best selling title, Yo-kai Watch Busters: Red Cat Team / White Dog Squad sold over 100,000 units. Meanwhile, Splatoon is still selling strong in Japan as it is splatting away at number 3 with over 41,000 units sold in the last week.


Last week’s charts were mainly dominated by Nintendo, as only two titles managed to break into the top ten and they were both PlayStation Vita titles. Minecraft: PlayStation Vita Edition which came fifth with 11,787 units sold and Luminous Arc Infinity came ninth with 6,048 units sold.
