Fallout 4 Will Benefit From the Bugs in Skyrim Says Bethesda

The lessons learned from Skyrim will aid Fallout 4.

The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim is one of the best RPG’s ever made and was certainly the biggest game of 2011. However, it is fair to say that the massive open world did feature a lot of bugs, especially on the PlayStation 3 version.

Some fans may be concerned that Fallout 4 will also feature lots of bugs, but luckily, Bethesda has stated that lessons learned during the development of Skyrim will be used to help make Fallout 4 as stable as possible.

“I think we’ve gotten way better there,” said Todd Howard in an interview with Game Informer. “For us, (the player’s) saved game is the number one thing. If the game crashes that’s bad, but it is nowhere near as bad as someone’s saved game being hosed. That’s our scenario that we will do anything and everything to avoid. We made a lot of progress given how Skyrim went, but we did it during Skyrim. This just builds on that.”
When a game as big an ambitious as Fallout 4 is released, it’s inevitable that there will be some bugs and hiccups, but hopefully there will be no major issues like there was with Skyrim.
Fallout 4 is due to be released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on November 10th.
