Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be the next installment in the Call of Duty franchise and fans everywhere are preparing for war. The Black Ops series is different to other Call of Duty games in that the game’s main campaign is often as worthwhile as the much loved online multiplayer.
Treyarch is being quite secretive when it comes to the details of thew game’s story, but it has been revealed that in the main campaign, your character will have a blank slate. The last two Black Ops games have put players in the role of Alex Mason but in Black Ops 3, players will be able to choose whether they want to play as a male or female character. Apparently, your character won’t even have a back story, which will tie into the game’s story.
The first two Black Ops games were very connected in their story, and whilst Black Ops 3 will be connected to the series, it won’t be a direct sequel in the same way Black Ops 2 was to the original game. The theme of the game will be based upon the idea of machines VS machines.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is due to be released on November 6th for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.
