Upon being released, Batman: Arkham Knight was a hit on consoles, and presumably would have been equally great on PC’s were it not for the terrible issues that plagued the PC version upon its launch.
The PC edition of Arkham Knight was so impossible to play due to all its issues that Warner Bros has actually removed the game from Steam and doesn’t intend to re-release it until it’s in a playable state. Because of these issues, it has been announced by Warner Bros that the Batgirl DLC titled “A Matter of Family” has been delayed.
Warner Bros released a statement saying: “We apologise for the delay and only want to make sure that any content that we offer is up to the standards that PC players expect.”
It seems Warner Bros are working hard to get the PC version of the game in working order but there’s no doubt that this terrible launch has tainted an otherwise great game. With regards to the PC version, Warner Bros said:
“We can also assure you that because of this latest launch, we are modifying the internal review process for all of our games. For those who are waiting for the updated version of the game on PC, please know that we are working on this every day. For the players who are continuing to play Batman: Arkham Knight on PC, fixes are continually being made to the game as we await the final updated version.”
