Fighting games fans listen up because Arc System Works announced over the weekend that they are working on a brand new BlazBlue game called BlazBlue: Central Fiction. Central Fiction will be released for arcades first, and, according to AnimeNewsNetwork, Arc System Works will be holding a three-day location test in Akihabara, Tokyo starting July 18.
On Sunday Famitsu also streamed a teaser video for BlazBlue: Central Fiction which revealed two new characters named Naoto Kurogane, who has a mysterious power in his left hand, and the witch Konoe A. Mercury. The teaser trailer also highlighted Hibiki Kohaku who first appeared in BlazBlue: Chronophantasma.
Along with these three characters, the teaser trailer also confirmed that 28 characters will be returning including Ragna, Jin, Rachel, Noel, Hazama, Izayoi, Azrael, Bang and Iron Tager.
According to Gematsu, more information about BlazBlue: Central Fiction will be revealed in the next issue of Famitsu, in the form of a “10-page follow-up report.”
