Rock Band 4 Pre-Orders Are Open but It’ll Hurt Your Wallet

Rock Band 4 pre-orders are now open but your wallets not going to enjoy it.

Players looking forward to Rock Band 4 will be happy to hear that pre-orders are now open, but if the prices on Amazon and Toys R Us are real, players without the legacy instruments or just want new ones will be playing a lot for them.

Rock Band 4 by itself will cost $59.99 for either the PlayStation 4 or the Xbox One version, but Toys R Us are selling a guitar bundle for $129.99. According to Polygon, this is $30 more expensive than the Guitar Hero Live bundle. It should be noted that the guitar in that bundle has a different button layout so veteran Guitar Hero players won’t be able to use their old instruments.

Both Amazon and Toys R Us are also selling a full-band set for Rock Band 4 for $249.99. For $249.99 the set will come with a copy of the game, one guitar, the drum set and a microphone.
