Get Physical with Wolfenstein: Old Blood Next Month

Let's get physical, and kill some Nazis!

One of the biggest surprises from last year was Bethesda and MachineGames’ Wolfenstein: The New Order. The acclaim for the revival of the classic FPS franchise led to the creation of the standalone side story The Old Blood, which released on digital marketplaces back in May. But if you prefer your games on disc, the digital only release was saddening to you, right? Not anymore. Bethesda has announced today that Wolfenstein: The Old Blood will be getting a physical release on July 21 for the Xbox One and Playstation 4.

The Old Blood is a prequel story set just prior to the prologue of New Order. BJ Blazkowicz and Richard Wesley head to Castle Wolfenstein to grab a folder containing information on their target, General Wilhelm “Deathshead” Strasse. As is the case with most of BJ’s ventures, this is easier said than done, and the Nazis just won’t let you get that info without a fight. It’ll be available to buy for $20, and will be a lovely game to tide you over for the summer. Maybe you should grab it and New Order and play them both in canonical order!
