Fallout 4 Will Not be Coming to Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3

*Insert witty pun about why war never changes here*

Prior to the release of the Fallout 4 trailer this past Wednesday, many have been wondering if the game will be making an appearance on the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 consoles.

There has been speculation and rumor floating about that lead some to believe that because of the way some of the visuals in the trailer looked, that the game might be able to run on the older generation consoles. However, the Global Community Manager over at Bethesda, Matt Grandstaff, officially confirmed yesterday that the game will strictly be released on the newer-generation consoles and PC.

“It is not coming to 360 and PS3, the stuff we’re doing will never work there,” Grandstaff told this NeoGAF thread.

If you’re a big Fallout fan and don’t currently have an Xbox One, PlayStation 4, or PC that can run Fallout‘s hardware, now might be the time to start saving up your pennies.
