The hype for Fallout 4 has been building for years, ever since New Vegas released in 2010. We finally got our for real confirmation yesterday with a countdown, and now the wait is finally over. Bethesda has released a trailer for the game, and it is awesome.
Unlike previous Fallout trailers, this trailer isn’t just a slow pan out into the nuclear wasteland you’ll be traveling to set to some old timey music from the 1930s. The trailer shows off some of what life was like before the bombs hit, an updated version of the fantastic Fallout 3 theme, new monsters, and so much more. But the most important thing is what happens at the end. No spoilers, but let’s just say that it’s something a lot of Fallout fans have been asking for for years and will be sure to appreciate as they trek through Boston.
Fallout 4 will be released for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with a full reveal at Bethesda’s E3 conference Sunday the 14th. Until then, we’ve got this trailer to tide us over, and it certainly does a great job at that. Ugh, that’s so far away!
