As of Playstation’s E3 announcement, we were informed that Destiny’s The Taken King is being released this coming Fall, September 15, 2015. The Taken King is poised to be Destiny’s biggest addition to the game.

The Taken King will include not only three entirely new sub-classes for guardians to experiment with, but also  brand new competitive crucible modes, new villains and enemies, new patrols, new public events, new bounties, new exotics, new weapons, new armor, new strikes, a new raid, and more.

While there is a lot to look forward to in Destiny’s The Taken King expansion, some long-time Destiny fanatics have been noticing that Bungie has offered more new content to look forward to for new players than it has for its veteran fans.

Technically, the content is available to all players with enough money to pay the price.

However, the dilemma is that even if veteran fans are willing to purchase the new content, there isn’t an option for them to do so without also re-purchasing the vanilla Destiny game along with The Dark Below and House of Wolves DLC packages.

There are three options to choose from when buying Destiny’s The Taken King expansion. To understand exactly what some players are upset about, let’s compare all three options.
