During Nintendo’s E3 Direct, Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer got a super cute new trailer to show off what players will be doing in the game.
The game showed off more of the home building and decorating gameplay that we saw when it was first revealed back in April.
We also saw another quick sneak peak at the amiibo cards being used on the New Nintendo 3DS console in order to unlock extra characters and items in the game. In the trailer we saw series regular characters such as Lyle the insurance seller, Tom Nook that crafty Raccoon that steals all of our bells, and a variety of villagers that inhabit your village.
The trailer emphasises the decoration mechanic of not only houses for your fellow villagers but also schools and other significant village buildings. The amount of customisation and items available to wannabe home designers seems pretty extensive too. Just check out the trailer below.
The trailer also gave us a brief peak at the implementation of the amiibo cards into Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer. In the trailer the player scans in the Isabelle villager card and all of a sudden she appears in the game asking for specific decorations in and around her house. Looks like we’ll be buying a few packs of amiibo cards with the game when it releases then.
Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer is set to release Sep. 25 this year and is sure to be a big hit with younger gamers.
