Take-Two Interactive has revealed that WWE 2K16 will be coming to stores on October 27th 2015, during its earning call for the fiscal year of 2015. The game will be coming for the Xbox One/PS4 as well as the PS3/ Xbox 360 but no PC version was listed.
No other details about the game was revealed but the financial release did reveal that October 27th is the North American release date only. WWE 2K16 will be released internationally three days later.
Besides WWE 2K16 the financial report also teased that 2K Games are working on an unannounced Triple-A title, but again no details about the title were revealed.
IGN reported that the publisher also said that “Throughout the coming year, we will continue to execute our proven strategy of launching a select array of the highest-quality titles, led by new annual releases of NBA 2K and WWE 2K; Battleborn, a groundbreaking new intellectual property from Gearbox Software,”
Take-Two’s financial report revealed that dispute earning $1.7 billion this year, the companies revenue for the year is lower than from the same period last year, where they earned $2.3 billion. That being said though the reason for this is mostly due to the launch of Grand Theft Auto 5 last year.
After WWE 2K15 got slammed by both fans of the series and reviews alike for cutting features, having dated visuals, a poor roster and being buggy as hell, 2K Games have a lot of fans to appease with this new entry.
