It’s been a long time coming, Witcher fans. You’ve been hit with delay after delay, but now, your faith shall be rewarded. CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has finally reached gold status. The highly anticipated action RPG full of realistic racism is a little over a month away from release, and the developer happily announced that the game has “gone gold and will soon be YOURS!” Studio head Adam Badowski is nothing short of excited:
“We worked so damn hard over the past three years to bring you this game. From the corrupt nobles in Novigrad to ancient monsters lurking in deep forests, to the bustling cities, colorful ports and breathtaking vistas; all the people, all the places — we literally spent tens of thousands of hours to turn all that into an adventure that will kick your ass and make you want to come for more.”
Witcher 3 is already said to have somewhere between 25 and 200 hours of content, and that’s just in the base game alone. Aside from the free 16 DLC packs, The Witcher 3 will also have two paid DLC packs that’ll have about 30 hours of content, with the first one primed for release in October. Hope you’re ready to clear off your schedule for the next six months!
