The Evil Within‘s next DLC installment, dubbed The Consequence, is available in certain regions on some platforms today with the rest following tomorrow.
The Evil Within: The Consequence puts players in the shoes of Juli Kidman, Sebastian Castellanos’ partner. The story content takes a look at the main game’s tale, answering questions about the whereabouts of Juli during The Evil Within‘s story arc. This DLC picks up from the Assignment and is likely to provide some sort of set up for The Executioner, the third piece of DLC due sometime in the near future.
Owners of the game will be able to download the DLC and play it sometime today, if they’re owners of an Xbox One, Xbox 360, or PC in North America and the UK. Those on the European mainland will gain access tomorrow, alongside PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 owners worldwide. If you’re a fan of the game, keep an eye out on digital marketplaces for when your version of the game will be updated to incorporate The Consequence.
The DLC is available as part of the season pass or can be purchased alone for $9.99/£6.99. The Consequence will put an end to content updates for The Evil Within for now, unless Bethesda announces some more downloadable story content for the Shinji Mikami-directed survival horror.
