Ever since the announcement of a several new titles at Playstation Experience, Sony has release an official update on the progress of Resident Evil Revelations 2 for the Playstation Vita. Currently, the final episode of Resident Evil Revelations 2, was just released on Playstation 4 and Playstation 3 on March 17, with the worldwide release on March 18, and so the game is now able to be ported over to the Playstation Vita. Despite no official Playstation Vita-specifc gameplay and features announced so far, there will be a future update with a proper release date and details.
The Playstation Blog stated:
‘”But for now, I am just saying “coming digitally this summer.”‘
The Playstation Vita version of Resident Evil Revelations 2 will contain all four episodes of the Capcom release, including all the DLC released so far for the series. Raid Mode, single player will be included at launch but the online co-op and ad-hoc modes are stated to come as a post-launch update. This will allow players to get the game faster with several future updates in planning. In addition, the combat and shooting includes gyroscopic targeting to make shooting much more Playstation Vita-centric and comfortable for players.
