Announced today via the company’s Nintendo Direct, the Smash Bros. Fighter Ballot will allow visitors to let Nintendo know who they want to see as future Smash Bros. DLC.

The ballot itself is short, as all you need to do is fill out your gender (who knows why), the name of the character you’d like to see, the title of the game they appear in, and up to 500 characters explaining why they deserve to make it into the game. You have until October 3rd to do this with Nintendo presumably considering the most popular entries for inclusion in future Smash DLC.

If you’re interested the ballot can be found here. Interestingly entries are not limited to Nintendo-only characters. One could in theory vote for any character from any game. We live in a strange post-Sonic in Smash world, so nothing is off the table it seems.

Again, you can vote for anyone. Just make sure you choose correctly. (Hint, Hint: Solid Snake.)
