What makes Bloxiq so unique compared to other puzzle games? Find out here...

Blot Interactive have announced their their cube-based puzzle game Bloxiq will be released on the Playstation Vita on April 14th. The indie puzzle game focuses on challenging the player from all directions in an innovative and unique way that differs from most portable puzzle games. Unlike many, there is no luck involved as there are clearly defined solutions to each puzzle that the player has to discover through trial and error.

Featuring over a 100 different puzzles, types of cubes and many difficulty levels, Bloxiq starts with simple colour-matching before bringing in 3-D  so players can connect and move blocks in several different ways. Within the 100 puzzles, there are 7 unique worlds that have at least one solution each and requires players to use critical thinking rather than button-mashing.

The cube types varied from locked ones to explosive ones and even multi-cubes so players will have to be cautious before making a move. Bloxiq also mixes buttons and touch controls to create a whole new experience that attracts and challenges the player.

Blot Interactive have based Bloxiq on prior releases such as Devil Dice and Echochrome. The full press release can be read on the Official Playstation Blog here.
