Octodad: Dadliest Catch is Coming to Xbox One and Wii U

Young Horses’ Octodad: Dadliest Catch, which tells the story about just a regular father trying to do regular every day things, is coming to Xbox One and Wii U this Summer.

Just the normal story of an average every day father, Octodad: Dadliest Catch has been announced for both the Wii U and Xbox One for release this Summer.

Developed by the team over at Young Horses, the story of Octodad isn’t your average narrative. The third-person puzzle action game is the official sequel to the original title, Octodad. In Dadliest Catch, you’re caught between your wife’s mistrust and an awfully ironic trip to the aquarium which goes ultimately goes wrong and could lead to your exposure as the Cephalopod that you are.

While the Xbox One version is being  developed through Microsoft’s [email protected] program, the Wii U version is being worked on by Young Horses and Panic Button Games, who has also worked on Disney Infinity.

Though no official release date has been announced, if you haven’t picked the game up and don’t want to wait for this summer, it’s currently available for Linux, Mac, PlayStation 4, and PC.
