Final Fantasy Type-0 HD Guide: How to Play as Sice

Moxie, Tenacity, and Negative Aura are three abilities that work really well together. While Moxie allows Sice to absorb large amounts of malice, Tenacity lowers the amount of malice she loses when she takes damage. With these two abilities, you should be able to deal a relatively high amount of damage any time you’re in combat.

Negative Aura is an ability that helps to create a more durable build for Sice. The base ability allows her to attack enemies with her absorbed malice, but once you upgrade it, you can add a Drain effect to the ability that allows her to absorb enemies’ HP while attacking.

Though Sice has an affinity for lightning magic, her MP pool is too small to take full advantage of that. I’d advise against wasting any of your command slots on lightning magic and instead focus on her malice-based abilities. A good defense spell for her would be Avoid, which you can get from the moogle outside Akademia’s main gates, as she needs all the help she can get in terms of evading attacks.

The tricky part about using Sice in combat is getting used to the way her scythe moves. The weapon has a narrower hit zone than you might expect and that makes it a little hard to land Kill Sights with just regular attacks. Definitely consider upgrading her combos so that she can execute a longer chain of attacks. Ultimately, it’s important to remember that Sice is a fantastic damage-dealer, but she definitely can’t take what she dishes out. Her key to survival is her speed and ability to dodge attacks.
