According to International Business Times, a leaked report indicates that Rockstar Games is set to release the upcoming Grand Theft Auto V heists downloadable content on Feb. 24.
This report is further backed by sites Chinatopix and Kdramastars. According to Kramastars, several 4Chan users discovered and leaked the entry of the date in the PlayStation Store. Other sources reveal that the entry date of Feb. 24 was quickly deleted by Sony soon after the news leaked.
While Rockstar Games has yet to make an official release statement of the anticipated heists D:C, Rockstar has assured all GTAV players that the content will be a free update on all consoles, including the PC version. This information is backed by Shawn Fonteno, Fraklin;s voice actor. Fonteno stated that Rockstar was hard at work on the update and that it would release any time soon.
The heists trailer, revealed back in December, is expected to launch with all new missions, tiered-heists, vehicles, weapons, animals, clothing, and of course – gameplay. The heists, according to Rockstar, will require clear communication among players to complete the heists successfully. Check out the official heists trailer here.
Also, earlier last month, more information about the heists were leaked through various bits of game code release via Twitter that indicate several new vehicles including: CJ’s IOA boat, heli-carrier, sm-boat, and a yacht (plus a heist set to take place on said yacht).
