Naughty Dog Reveals First Gameplay Trailer for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End

In today’s PlayStation Experience Event, developer of The Last of Us and the Jak series, Naughty Dog has revealed the first Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End gameplay trailer for the PlayStation 4.

The 15-16 minute long video is entirely taken from the in-game footage and is running at 1080p. It shows Nathan Drake exploring the caves and terrain of some island. We’re not told what or who he’s searching for, but we do hear someone call out to Nathan and refer to him as “little brother.”

The trailer reads:

Several years after his last adventure, retired fortune hunter, Nathan Drake, is forced back into the world of thieves. With the stakes much more personal, Drake embarks on a globe-trotting journey in pursuit of a historical conspiracy behind a fabled pirate treasure. His greatest adventure will test his physical limits, his resolve, and ultimately what he’s willing to sacrifice to save the ones he loves.

What we see is still in the “pre-alpha stage of development,” though Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is apparently set for release in 2015.
