One of this year’s heavy Game of the Year candidates, Dragon Age: Inquisition, has been a true delight and a most welcome return for Bioware’s amazing RPG games. As if this wasn’t enough, its developers are still showing a great deal of love, in the form of updates and fixes.
As announced, Bioware’s work on Dragon Age: Inquisition is far from over and will be focused in two priorities: patches and features and content.
Concerning patches, a new one (know as Patch 2) has already been deployed on PC, PS3, PS4 and Xbox 360 (Xbox One coming soon), including fixes for the following issues:
- Stability: freezes, glitches and crashes.
- Gameplay: overall issues ranging from quests and conversations to AI path finding and exploits.
- Multiplayer: animations, game mode bugs, additional bugs and crashes, etc.
- PC-specific: additional glitches and crashes, improved Mantle support and control issues related to keyboard and mouse input.
On the other hand, the “features and content priority” is exactly what we’ve been dreaming about: new stuff. Bioware’s announcement states there were many things left behind during Dragon Age: Inquisition’s launch. Those new features and content (for both single and multiplayer modes) will be available in a near future.
Even though no additional information was released, we can agree it’s always a great thing when an already awesome game gets additional stuff. Rejoice, fellow inquisitors!
