AAA Games That Should Have Been Early Access

It’s no secret that 2014 has been the year of unfinished games. Moreover, games that shouldn’t have come out when they did for they simply did not work. This should be expected of “early access games,” but surely not blockbuster AAA games, right?

You’d expect a buggy, unfinished game from a new developer working on their first product, but not Ubisoft, 343 Industries, or even Bungie. Sadly, that’s been the truth of it. Shigeru Miyamoto, father of Mario and Zelda once said, “A delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad.” These are the AAA games that were so buggy, incomplete, or just devoid of content that they should have been released as early access titles.
