1. Dragon Age: Inquisition
In a week featuring a few of 2014’s biggest console releases, Dragon Age: Inquisition stands just above the rest. Inquisition is a big step in the evolution of the series after a somewhat polarizing response to Dragon Age II.
And things have been largely positive so far with reviews trickling out. Dragon Age: Inquisition‘s world is immense, with plenty to explore and conquer, seamlessly blending elements from its two predecessors and other great series like The Elder Scrolls, Mass Effect and Diablo.
The tactical, top-down view that was removed in Dragon Age II returns for the series’ third installment, and the Qunari are finally a playable race. There’s also a four-player co-op, multiplayer mode that stands alone from the single-player campaign.
