No Man’s Sky has long been in the minds of many a gamer since its first reveal. The promise of a vast and open universe at your fingertips just begging to be explored has something of an extremely desirable ring to it. Well as part of the PlayStation Experience event being held in Las Vegas next month, there may be some big news coming for Hello Games’ space exploration title.
The details of it are hidden deep in a post over on the PlayStation Blog which sheds a little more light on what will be there to be seen. It talks about how hundreds of different games will be available for attendees to get their hands on as well as a focus on PlayStation only features. This basically means the show floor will be covered in Project Morpheus information and testing booths.
At the very base of the blog post a single line can be seen, a line which is likely to get those eagerly awaiting No Man’s Sky a little excited. It states that “We also have something super special planned for No Man’s Sky. I can’t say much, but let’s say that Saturday night should be memorable for those who can attend PlayStation Experience.” The trick here is working out exactly what it means.
PlayStation Experience is a PlayStation-only show being held in Las Vegas between December 6th and 7th.
Could this be the long-awaited announcement of a solid release date? Could it actually be that they’re bringing Morpheus support to No Man’s Sky in the hopes of making it a killer app for Sony’s proprietary Virtual Reality peripheral? Could it even be that they are releasing it during the show, much like the announcement of Entwined at this year’s E3? Let us know what you think in the comments down below.
