Square Enix Releases HD Version of New Final Fantasy XV and Final Fantasy Type-0 Footage

Square Enix made an appearance at last week’s Paris Games Week where they showed off a tech demo for Final Fantasy XV as well as some brand new HD screenshots for Final Fantasy Type-0 HD. Just yesterday, Square Enix Japan uploaded a high quality video of their Active Time Report onto their YouTube channel, featuring gameplay footage of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD and more on Final Fantasy XV. You can check the video up above.

The Type-0 HD portion shows off gameplay footage of various characters including Seven, Cinque, and Jack. We got to see some new levels and stages that weren’t available at the TGS 2014 gameplay demo.

The next part of the Active Time Report was a little more exciting as we got to see even more footage of the much anticipated Final Fantasy XV. While the world and environments in FFXV do look vast and rather expansive, it also looks like there’s a whole lot of nothing to do besides taking in the gorgeous sights. Then again, this is just a demo, so hopefully the final product will provide players with more optional things to do in the in-game world.

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is set to release for the PS4 and Xbox One on 17th March in North America and on 20th March in Europe. The game will also come with a download code for a Final Fantasy XV demo.
