Still on the fence about picking up The Evil Within after seeing some of the mixed reviews? This new trailer might help you decide.
The Evil Within, a third-person survival horror story starring detective Sebastian Castellanos, launched across North America today. And alongside it, a 1:36-minute long trailer on publisher Bethesda’s blog in which a creepy looking little girl meets a chainsaw. Gross.
The Evil Within was developed at Tango Gameworks by Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami, the godfather of the survival horror genre. The game is in the same vein of the seminal Resident Evil 4. The story finds Sebastian a the scene of a mass murder, where he’s knocked unconscious after seeing his fellow officers slaughtered. Upon awakening, Sebastian comes face to face with some of the game’s enemies, known as the haunted.
