Start making some space on your PS4 because Grand Theft Auto V is coming and it’s a big one. According to GTA 5 Cheats, GTA V is clocking in at 50 GB of minimum hard drive space required in order to run for the PS4. For comparison’s sake, Killzone: Shadow Fall, which garnered a lot of attention at the PS4 launch for having such a high save space requirement, clocks in around 37 GB. Wolfenstein: The New Order, the current champion, will wind up being slightly below at 48 GB once GTA V is released.
For anyone that bought a launch PS4, there’s a good chance that over the next few years you’ll have to invest in some kind of hard drive replacement. With only 500 GB of space and large games that now apparently demand 50 GB of space and most likely even more in the near future, it won’t take long before the built-in hard drives fill up.
GTA V for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One is due out on November 18th.
