PS Plus has got a reputation for bringing subscribers a wealth of fun titles at no extra cost to keep players busy. One shining example is Resogun which after being available to PlayStation 4 owners from the get-go still has thousands of people delighting in a whole load of voxel destruction. Anyway, enough looking back at what was. Here is what’s coming to PS Plus for October 2014 (according to the PS Blog).
For the PS4 we have the rogue-like platformer Spelunky which will also enter into the much-loved territory of Cross Buy, tying it to the previous PS3 and PS Vita versions. Following up behind it is arcade game Pix the Cat, coming to both PS4 and PS Vita in Cross Buy form. Finishing off the already impressive line-up is action-packed title Dust: An Elysian Tail.
Oh yeah and there’s a little thing called Driveclub. However this isn’t a full title, rather more of a large demo which features 11 tracks from India and 10 different vehicles. Of course this is alongside the full release which lands in North America on October 8th and Europe October 10th.
PlayStation 3 owners aren’t left out of this month’s PS Plus proceedings with Batman: Arkham Asylum and Dungeons and Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara both landing on the platform. Along with these come Rainbow Moon (which also finds its way to PS Vita) and the other aforementioned games which have Cross Buy attached to them.
PS Vita players aren’t getting anything exclusive in October through PS Plus but they are not forgotten, with three of those in the list available on Sony’s handheld.
It is also worth nothing here that the line-up for both Europeans and Americans is the same this month. The only difference is that access unlocks for the US on October 7th with Europe lagging behind on October 8th.
