If I were to say Chou Megami Shinkou Noire Gekishin Black Heart I wouldn’t be surprised to see an ocean of blank faces looking back. Apart from one or two faces in the crowd. A handful of faces shining through the nothing like lighthouses on the cliffs in a dark, stormy night. To bring everyone together, the SRPG Hyperdevotion Noire: Goddess Black Heart is coming to North American and European PlayStation Vita systems in early 2015.
The combination of Idea Factory, Compile Heart and Sting have put their heart and soul into bringing this much love japanese title over to the Western world and for good reason. The reason? It sounds like bloody good fun. Set in the world of Gamarket, four powerful CPUs are locked in a heated battle until their powers are taken away by an unnamed force. To save the world from destruction, they must put aside their differences to unite the world and defeat the enemy.
Hyperdevotion Noire: Goddess Black Heart will come in the form of a turn-based strategy game with enough extra features added in to get any RPG fan’s loins a little heated. Characters can battle together to build up something called a “Lily Boost” which grants special stats and abilities. Further into this Lily System Lily Points can be earned and used to activate goddess transformations. These relationships are built through battle and sealed with a kiss.
One quite unexpected feature in here is something called “Sim Noire” mode. Anyone who has ever played Animal Crossing or The Sims will know exactly what’s coming. The main character has a home which can be customized with in-game points and even go out with friends to build a social level.
