For a small handful of players, the much anticipated PlayStation 4 exclusive Bloodborne has been playable in alpha testing for short windows on October 1 and October 3. One more window was scheduled for today, October 5. Unfortunately, those looking forward to hacking and slashing through From Software’s hauntingly beautiful gothic horror themed title today will have to wait a bit longer.
Announced yesterday via the game’s Twitter account, the final alpha testing date for Bloodborne has been delayed. No new date for the alpha testing has been given, and no specific reason was given for the delay, aside from a general claim of “some issues.” Hopefully these issues are nothing too serious. The game needs to still be making good progress as its release date approaches faster and faster.
Barring any release date delays, everyone will be able to play Bloodborne next year when it releases on February 5, 2015 in Japan, and February 6 in North America and Europe.
