Publisher 2K has announced today that, while the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions will still be released on October 28th in North America, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One editions of WWE 2K15 have been delayed to release on November 18st in North America. The release will also change internationally to November 21st.
On the release date slip 2K said “Visual Concepts and Yuke’s are committed to delivering the most authentic and action-packed WWE experience to date, including release for the very first time on next-generation consoles,” said Greg Thomas, President, Visual Concepts. “The additional development time enables our talented teams to ensure the WWE 2K15 next-gen experience fully meets our expectations.”
This means that eight generation players are going to have to wait another three weeks to get their hands on the latest wrestling game. There is a spanner in the works now though. WWE 2k15 will now be launching during the same week as Far Cry 4 and Grand Theft Auto 5 on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
