Hyrule Warriors DLC Announced, Adds Some Great Potential

With only a few days before the western launch of the latest Zelda project, Nintendo have announced another reason for gamers to be excited.

The DLC, which looks to add weapons, characters, levels and even new game modes, will be launched throughout the next few months for both North America and Europe, beginning on September 30th. The first package, which is confirmed to be free, will feature three playable villains as well as the option to toggle cutscenes during battles.

Several other packages will be released throughout 2014/2015, although those who preorder the DLC (for 3000 yen or $30) will receive Dark Link as a bonus.

September 30 – Free
