In-Game Screenshots for Super Smash Bros. Can't Be Shared via Miiverse

It looks like Nintendo is giving anyone who wants to pick up Super Smash Bros. on the 3DS every reason to wait until the new 3DS models are released. According to a post on NeoGaf by user Cheesemeister, there won’t be very many in-game screenshots of Super Smash Bros. on Miiverse because the 3DS will not allow both pieces of software to run at the same time.

Most of the information was presented in the form of pictures and screenshots from a Japanese 3DS and the Japanese Miiverse community. The original Miiverse text explaining the problem from the Super Smash Bros. Miiverse community was translated as follows:

“Miiverse cannot be run while this software is being played, so posting screenshots to this community is not possible. When using this software with the New Nintendo 3DS or New Nintendo 3DS XL, Miiverse can be used while playing.”

So it looks like anyone wanting to share their Super Smash Bros. 3DS screenshots will either have to save screenshots to an SD card and upload that way or buy one of the new 3DS models. Super Smash Bros. is slated for release on the 3DS and Wii U on October 3rd.
